Lakers! We hope everyone has had a great summer so far! While you are soaking up the last few weeks of summer, here are the tentative start dates for tryouts, along with what you can expect along the way. We will be investing in third-party evaluators for all divisions from U11-U18 this year.

Other News and Information

  • We are pleased to be partnering with Canadian Tire in Sylvan Lake this season, who will be the sole retailer for all of our game socks. You will not receive game socks at the start of the season this year, all families are responsible to purchase their own socks, if needed, which are available at Canadian Tire in Sylvan Lake!
  • We would like to welcome Tyler Lightbown as our new Coach Mentor. Tyler has several years of elite coaching experience, including most recently the head coach of the Red Deer U18AAA Chiefs. Tyler will bring a wealth of experience for our coaches, and will be holding a seminar for all parents at the start of the season to support all teams with on and off ice expectations for the upcoming hockey season.
  • We have two other programs we will be launching this year as well, investing in weekly goaltending development, and season-long support and mentorship for our referees.
