U18 Lakers are 15,16 & 17 years old, and for the 2024-2025 season that means their year of birth is 2007, 2008 and 2009.  Our U18 Lakers play in the Central Alberta Hockey League  (CAHL). Last season we had 1 U18 Laker Team.

The U18 division is where the collaboration with the West Central Hub really shines. The SLMHA is host to the West Central Hub who provide U18 players with the opportunity to play at the AA level.  This is the West Central U18 Tigers, and for 15 year olds, the West Central Panthers.  If you are interested in trying out for the U16AA Panthers or U18AA Tigers there is a $150.00 tryout fee.
